The rolls- looked great and we're warm. But they were very doughy in your mouth even though they were done.

First, the salad and soup came in a timely manner. However, my dressing was on the salad, not on the side as ordered.

We also received two rye rolls.

Good seafood, even better stakes. The cove is great in quality and price.

Got a fish fry to go. Not so good

We had an order of the Angler's Platter and Walleye Cheeks. One of the choice of sides is Potato Pancakes, so that's what we ordered. The meal also included a salad or soup. I ordered the Spinach salad with dressing on the side. My companion ordered the Corn Chowder with (fake) Crab.

My Walleye Cheeks looked like fried potatoes and we're over fried and a little tough. Believe me, if you have had cheeks done right, they are very tender!

The Walleye Cheeks - of all of the food, I liked these best. A little chewy, but at least I could taste the fish.

The Bluegill - fried, crunchy and again not seasoned well.

Service was very good. We were welcomed when we entered. Service was timely (all though the waitress did not check for refills of water) and we were out in about 35 minutes!

Food was delicious. Service was great. All over fun experience.

We won't rush back.

Uh

The entree's also came in a timely manner. The platter was to have haddock, shrimp, perch, walleye checks and shrimp. There was one wall cheek in the mix.

Overall, not allot of flavor in any of the dishes. The coleslaw had an after taste that I couldn't quite make out. It was like tasting something fatty and a little sour. Didn't taste fresh.

Both dishes had Cole slaw. We ordered Walleye Cheeks as an appetizer and a cup of Corn Chowder.

Fish was too salty and not cooked well. Potato pancakes were dry and burnt. Corn fritters had no corn and were dry. Coleslaw looked old. Forgot to put in tartar sauce and applesauce. I hope 6yhry get better

Both of us were disappointed in the Potato Pancakes. They were basically frozen hash browns that had egg added then fried. Too thick. You can definitely tell the difference between real fried potatoes and previously frozen.

We both had the Bluegill fish fry. I had mine with potato pancakes and my friend had hers with garlic mashed potatoes.

The soup - not very flavorful.
